To prepare and develop tomorrow’s leaders, the Resort Industry Student Experience (RISE) internship program provides the structure and resources to harness, teach, and grow talented students into successful career professionals through an immersive, holistic, and dynamic learning experience in the hospitality industry.

All internships will consist of hands on work, observations, special projects, leadership development, training, feedback and evaluations. Students will have the opportunity to form connections with both their peers and industry leaders who are in roles in both their own department and others within the company.

 The Recruiting corporate internship will be a 12 week long experience, dedicated to time-constrained, company-wide Recruiting initiatives.  This particular internship involves reporting to the SR. HR Manager and working with field recruiters in sourcing, screening, branding, and vetting qualified candidates for targeted job requisitions and job profiles. Primary learnings from this internship will be recruitment processes, use of collaborative tools, development of communication skills, and an excellent understanding of to build and maintain a pipeline of qualified and diverse talent and research & analyze competitive intelligence.



  • Performs administrative duties such as reference and background checks, arranging of drug screening and completes new hire paperwork process in conjunction with Employment Coordinator. Ensures that acknowledgement letters are sent to applicants, and that applicants are tracked for job openings. Performs duties in a confidential manner, securing documents related to personnel.
  • Assists with all Talent Acquisition initiatives and hosted events. Responds to general employment and hiring status inquiries. Completes special assignments and projects as required. 
  • Assist with reviewing resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge. 
  • Attend job fair events and build company awareness at local colleges and other recruiting events as needed. 


Job Requirements

  • Student pursuing a degree in business, psychology, human resources, hospitality or any related area of study
  •  Enrolled in college/university courses within 6 months of the start of the internship
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher and be in current good standing with the college/university
  • Must not be in first two semesters taking college coursework
  • Must be able to secure housing in the location of the internship for the duration of the internship
  • Must be able to pass and complete a background check and pre-employment drug screening
  • Must be able to complete entire program without interruptions
