POSITION OVERVIEW:

Leads the activities staff in resort-wide activities. Plans, supervises and creates  activities. Monitors and tracks guest participation. The Activities Supervisor is also  responsible for ensuring the proper performance of Activities Associates. The Supervisor also assists in all aspects of delivering an exceptional guest experience.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS :

  • Completion of daily schedules, timekeeping, supply inventories, activity log sheets and other documented information (such as participation).
  • Work together with the Manager of Activities to provide oversight and support of weekly activities and events, and to oversee and observe 3rd party entertainers or vendors.
  • Cover all holiday events and special events
  • Ability to create fun, new activities for guests

 

Job Requirements

  • Two years of demonstrated experience interacting with children and families.
  • Must be comfortable interacting with large groups of people.
  • Ability to lead group fitness classes.
  • Zumba or ACE certification a plus
  • Proficiency with computer applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and/or Publisher
  • Outgoing personality and eagerness to create fun is required
  • Health card, CPR/AED and Alcohol Awareness card preferred

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Working outdoors in varied weather conditions
  • Regular computer usage
  • Ability to swim and participate in water activities
  • Ability to perform all scheduled activities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
