Perform accounting and oversight duties that include maintenance of general ledger, assisting with trial balance, financial statements and other financial reporting.  Has advanced knowledge of commonly used accounting concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular accounting function.  Applies basic understanding of accounting principles and practices to the organization’s operations requiring independent thought and judgment.  Should be able to identify problems within the organization’s control structure.  Works under minimal supervision and, at times, the job responsibilities may include some difficult situations requiring investigation and more in-depth analysis.  Applicant should possess advanced computer skills, including extensive experience with Excel.


  • Assist with GAAP reporting and analysis.  This includes review of results, ensure financials are reported in accordance with GAAP, analyzing variances, and other financial reporting schedules.

  • Assist with completing and maintaining proper documentation for all reporting processes in the group along with other processes related to financial services.

  • Ad hoc reporting/analytical work and accounting research as requested by department leaders.

  • Formalize HOA state filing requirements and deadlines including the annual budget/reserve study, financial statements, schedule of receipts and disbursements, etc. Create forecast models and summarize lending and reporting requirement deadlines.



Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 2-4 years accounting related experience; public accounting a plus 
  • Experience in presenting and discussing financial information with business leaders is a plus
  • Timeshare / Hospitality industry experience preferred
  • CPA or CPA seeking, highly preferred


  • Understanding of reporting and generally accepted accounting principles
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organization skills are critical
  • Knowledge of Dynamics AX is a plus
