POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Scrum Master is responsible for managing various IT projects and efforts from creation to delivery using the Agile/Scrum framework. They facilitate the scrum process and ceremonies (Meetings). The Scrum master will keep the team ebnergized, motivated and on task while clearing any and all team impediments. They are responsible for creating and maintaining team performance statistics and making sure project statuses are communicated to the appropriate parties. The Scrum Master will work with the Business Product Owner to create and maintain the backlog and make sure the scrum team is delivering value.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

  • Guide project teams using the scrum framework
  • Facilitate all scrum ceremonies.
  • Provides plans, reports and other artifacts of communication as it pertains to projects, efforts and enhancements
  • Participate in Scrum Training
  • Ensure that teams are delivering value and become self organizing

 

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Proven ability to work with both business and technical teams
  • Experience working in teams developing enterprise level software applications and service oriented architecture
  • Scrum Master Certified or at least 5 years of verifyable Scrum Master Role
  • 2 years of general IT experience
