POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The is responsible for providing support and assistance through a variety of administrative tasks and duties for the Rental Operations department, specifically as a member of the Rental Marketing team. The marketing coordinator is tasked with a variety of marketing activities and administrative duties, focused heavily on website content, auditing all HCV web-listings, loading content and photos across various platforms/channels. The core focus for this position is to achieve highest possible content scores across all website management systems, ensuring 100% accuracy on content, photos, renovations, etc. while minimizing guest issues. In this role, the candidate will be expected to work within a deadline driven environment and multi-task while balancing several projects. The marketing coordinator will be responsible analyzing and researching industry trends to optimize content as needed, be knowledgeable of each assigned resort to make effective marketing decisions and work closely with team members and appropriate resort staff, resulting in superior marketing efforts to gain brand recognition and ultimately increase revenue for the department.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  1. Manage content, images and marketing materials through content management systems and all third-party vendors to ensure 100% accuracy to deliver true guest expectations and lower guest issues. Review resorts in the various management systems on a weekly basis to keep scores at highest levels for brand reputation and above competitors.
  2. Work closely with GM’s/Front Desk Managers to ensure knowledge of all renovations/closings/new amenities/openings/etc. to keep website, CRO alerts and all listings up-to-date and review each resort in its entirety on a quarterly basis for content accuracy and photo needs.
  3. Work with Marketing Specialists for assigned properties to review and update what’s happening at the resorts, amenities, closures, renovations, etc. Provide updates on a monthly, or as needed basis.
  4. Responsible for tracking, reviewing and reporting out on all maintenance and upcoming needs for their assigned properties regarding content and photos, working closely with the Rental Marketing Supervisor. Work on ad hoc rental marketing projects as assigned by the Supervisor to assist the Rental Marketing team as a whole.

 

 

Job Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s and/or Associate’s Degree in Marketing (or marketing focus) or 1-2 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Content marketing experience preferred, but not required
  • Understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media, etc. and market research methods, analytics and tools) preferred, but not required

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent communication skills including written communications, speaking and presentation development and delivery.
  • Attention to detail in order to catch quality assurance issues before project deployment.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work as a team and be part of a dynamic team environment.
  • Possess strong organizational skills.
  • Effective project manager who gets things done with minimal guidance.
  • Must have desire to learn, and ability to master new systems and tools.
  • Ability to work well with other team members and cross-functional teams.
  • Understand strict brand guidelines and ability to work within those guidelines
  • Expert level experience required for: Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint).
