POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

The Holiday Inn Club Vacations Regional Trainer will be responsible for the implementation, facilitation, and ongoing support of Corporate Training Programs within their region. The Regional Trainer may also be asked to modify/develop/design training programs for individual resorts with the supervision and guidance of the Corporate Training Team. This position will be based in Orlando but may travel up to 50% of the time.  

 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:  

  • Supervise Region’s compliance with Corporate Training Programs / Initiatives. Work with Resort Leaders and Local Trainers to identify any obstacles and/or business needs. Assist Region and Corporate Training Team in implementation of programs and openings of new resorts in region. Develop Local Trainers through guidance and advice.

  • Facilitation of Corporate Training Programs Include: Orientation, Company Service Culture, Job Skills Training, etc. Assist in the start-up of Product Launches in Region through co-facilitation with Local Trainer. Facilitation of Regional workshops and meetings.

  • Localization of Corporate Training Programs to ensure success at each property in Region. May be asked by Corporate Training team to design and develop specific regional content.

  • Responsible for monitoring the status of training compliance and effectiveness of Corporate Training programs through feedback, tracking reports, and other measures.

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Associates Degree or higher in Hospitality, Education, Psychology, or related field preferred. 
  • Professional facilitation skills preferred
  • One year of experience in hospitality or resort operations preferred
  • One year of experience in live classroom facilitation, public speaking, or equivalent experience.
  • Able to thrive in a collaborative team environment  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher)
