The Regional Human Resources Director is responsible for designing and managing the delivery of a business-aligned people agenda. This position is also responsible for leading a team of Human Resources staff, based in different locations within the assigned geographic region, to provide distinctive service to their internal clients, employees, and partners within the region. Key areas of focus are to address human development needs within the various sites and ensure that appropriate training is delivered to meet these needs.

The successful candidate will develop the team responsible for "high touch" people experiences, such as onboarding, integrated performance management, retention practices, employee issues, and general Human Resources programs for the region.

  • Become an expert in the strategy of the Company, regional practices, and the business priorities of the region; proactively interact with regional leaders and line partners/managers to strategically identify Company-wide Human Resources goals and objectives to ensure they are consistent with the business goals of Orange Lake Resorts.
  • Support the execution of the Company’s strategy by co-designing and implementing a business-aligned people agenda that delivers measurable value to the business and an exemplary experience to the employees.
  • Co- develop and implement national Human resources policies, procedures, and practices and ensure they are implemented successfully at all levels; oversee the regional execution of all general Human Resources programs including the following:site recruitment, performance management, training, employment law compliance,compensation and benefits administration, new hire orientation, employee relations,and retention.
  • Coordinate and partner with other Human Resources national groups such as Recruitment, HRIS, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, and Compensation & Benefits.
  • Manage,mentor, and coach the region’s Human Resources staff.


Job Requirements


  • Region’s Human Resources staff (Managers, Generalists, and Coordinators)



  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of increasingly responsible Human Resources leadership positions with demonstrated ability to thrive in a culture that is collaborative, service-oriented, and consultative, preferably in the timeshare industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience in Human Resources.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR and recruiting strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience in defining and implementing detailed HR business processes.
  • Past experience functioning as a regional HR Leader highly preferred.
  • Past experience as an HR leader supporting multiple business functions through an HR Business Partnermodel.
  • Extensive experience managing, mentoring and developing a team of HR practitioners across disparate geographies.



  • SPHR or PHR



  • Must have strong knowledge and command of Federal & State employment laws such as ADA, FMLA, Wage & Hour, , as well as HR policies, procedures, staffing, employee relations, strategic planning, and training & development.
  • An outstanding coach and mentor with engaging and approachable personality. Will have significant history of working successfully with all levels of staff, from front-line through senior executive.
  • A proven expert in prioritization and negotiation with demonstrated ability to be effective in supporting multiple business leaders/ partners working in various locations across different business units.
  • Highly collaborative and action-oriented, with a leadership style characterized by strong influencing skills; someone who is a change agent who can build collaborative relationships across the region.
  • Reputation for discretion, integrity, judgment, responsiveness, strong attention to detail and common sense.
  • Confident with history of exhibiting strong personal initiative as someone who is willing to get out in the field, roll up their sleeves, and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
  • Operationally focused with ability to think strategically and deliver tactically. 
  • Metrics-focused with ability and history of using analytics to solve problems and develop solutions.
  • Solid PC skills with proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to travel as required to service the region.
