The Receptionist II is responsible for serving as a representative of the company and providing a welcoming and professional first impression both on the telephone and in person. This position is also responsible for providing administrative support as needed


  • Answers multi-line phone system, determines purpose of calls and direct calls appropriately and/or relay accurate messages.
  • Answer questions about organization and provide callers with address, directions and other information.
  • Welcome on-site visitors and vendors, determine nature of business and contact the appropriate individual to pick their guest up at the reception area.
  • Maintain calendar for conference rooms, telephone/directory of all employees.
  • Responsible for contacting the appropriate vendor/department for office maintenance or cleaning issues with the regard to the facilities day-to-day operations (such as changing light bulbs, heat problems, water problems, housekeeping issues, etc.).  Maintain a log for tracking calls as well as date and time of acceptable resolution.
  • Assists with special projects as required.


Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience
  • Degree preferred
  • Experience answering multi-line phones
  • A clear speaking voice with friendly and professional demeanor and etiquette
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
  • Reliable and Prompt


  • Continuous computer use
  • Ability to Multi-Task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt in fast paced work environment
