POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The role of the Digital Marketing Specialist is to provide marketing support and assistance to the Rental Operations/Performance Marketing Department.  In collaboration with Brand Services, Revenue Management, and other teams, the Digital Marketing Specialists will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day digital marketing operations for 12+ HICV resorts with an emphasis on pay-per-click strategies via Google and Microsoft Ads; as well as other digital platforms as necessary. 

 

The Digital Marketing Specialist will develop a strategic digital marketing strategy that coincides with seasonality, event promotions, and company need periods, and be responsible for monitoring paid campaign effectiveness, making recommendations on adjustments and creating opportunities to increase brand awareness and company visibility and profitability.

 

In this role, the candidate must understand the principles of growth hacking, HTML, XML, CSS, PHP to determine landing page conversion opportunities. Additionally, the candidate needs to be organized and proactive with a high-level of comfort working under tight deadlines. Strong project management, analytics, and decision-making skills are also a must.  The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, an understanding of hotel marketing principles, and a proven track record in digital marketing implementations are key success factors. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

1. Lead the execution of inbound marketing, demand generation, lead management and automated digital marketing programs to drive lead conversion and ultimately new business acquisition. 15%


2. Work with content and social teams to promote collaborative digital marketing strategies to aide other channels. 10%


3. Research key words, write ad copy, and create, execute, and optimize paid digital campaigns. Additionally, keep up to date with PPC best practices, key word research tools and industry research. 30%


4. Budget, project manage, and audit landing pages, banners, and other digital marketing assets as needed for monthly campaigns. 15%


5. Measure, analyze, provide actionable insights, and report on new and existing campaign performance and profitability, click and conversion rates, ROI, and ad spend by property and adjust digital campaign strategies accordingly. 30%

 

Job Requirements



EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, E-commerce or related field, plus 3-5 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Goggle Analytics & GA360 (Required)
  • Experience with Site Catalyst / Omniture (Required)
  • Paid Social Media Strategies (Required)
  • Conversion Tracking & Optimization (Required)
  • Programmatic Web Experience
  • Strong knowledge of experience with a CRM Software; preferably Salesforce. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of marketing elements (including traditional marketing, market research methods, analytics, and tools).
  • Understanding of how to drive KPI’s and optimize to business goals.
  • Experience with A/B split testing.
  • Proficiency in graphics, web advertising, social media, and web development.
  • Experience managing marketing budget, planning, and spending (projections vs. actual).
  • Resort/hotel/hospitality marketing experience


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Google Analytics certification (Required)
  • Adwords Search and/or Display (Required)
