POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Generate and develop new business opportunities to increase revenue for the Rental department. The role will be focused on nurturing the existing client base as well as focusing on new business on both the B2B(Wholesalers, Tour Operators, Travel Agencies, Corporate, Associations, ..) and B2C segments (OTA’s, IHG.com,…etc.), exploiting exceptional sales and business development skills to effectively drive successful results. To actively develop future and repeat business contributing to achieve the department goals of budgeted room night production, revenue, arrivals and other vacation ownership related KPI’s.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

  • Cultivate strategic alliances with current B2B and B2C distribution channels.
  • Develop new partnerships and revenue streams for the rental department.

  • Develop Strategic direction by analyzing current business results and anticipated business conditions in order to achieve the budget set in place by the executive team.

  • Conduct site visits and represent Holiday Inn Club Vacations Resorts at trade/consumer shows, presentations and other functions as designated.

 

 

Job Requirements



EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or Marketing
  • 3-5 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Excellent communication skills including written communications, speaking and presentation development and delivery.
• Excellent knowledge of the travel industry, the various distribution channels and global B2C and B2B players.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work under multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work as a team and be part of a dynamic team environment
• Possesses strong organizational skills.
• Effective project manager who gets things done with minimal guidance.
• Must have desire to learn, and ability to master new systems and tools.
• Ability to work well with other team members and cross-functional teams.
• Expert level experience required for: Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint).
