The Manager of Engineering will lead a team of general maintenance technicians to provide service to owners and guests in the maintenance and repair of timeshare guest units and assets. This individual will participate in the hiring, training, evaluation, and supervision of all members of their team. Additional responsibilities include ongoing training, coaching and counseling. This manager will serve as a role model, develop talent and provide staff support in handling complex situations and insure the staff’s commitment to meeting service expectations. This manager will provide direct supervision of engineering maintenance teams to assure proper response to requests for service, planned maintenance, and preventative maintenance. This manager is responsible for the maintenance and repair of approximately one hundred and thirty timeshare condos and facilities.


  • Design, organize, execute, and complete any and all projects as directed. Provide technical support to all repairs and maintenance personnel. Implement and facilitate skills training for the staff.

  • Organization of assignments for the staff. Manage scheduling and monitor overtime. Manage performance and staff behaviors, providing coaching and/or corrective actions when necessary. Conduct 90 day and annual reviews. Drive Team Member Engagement.

  • Control budgetary expenditures. Manage vehicle and storage room inventory to assure proper par levels are maintained to provide materials needed to support the maintenance and response team efforts.

  • Address owner and guest concerns as needed. Monitor completion times and quality of services provided. Drive guest satisfaction score for continuous improvement.


Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in Hospitality Maintenance, Apartment Complex Maintenance, or related industry.

  • 2 years in a leadership role preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age or older, have 4 years of driving experience and a valid drivers license
