The Manager of Development Support is responsible for ensuring excellence and success of our development support team, providing the necessary service to our applications and end-users in a timely manner.  They will mentor and direct the teams, managing work and balancing priorities between multiple customers. The manager will conduct or facilitate training sessions for the team members and new members in the team. Strong need to be hands on solving critical issues of our systems helping the team increase their understanding of process and problems with the software systems.  Additionally, will set and / or adjust team norms and SLAs.


  • Manage, guide and mentor development support team
  • Analyze production outages and identify integrated systems
  • Provides documentation, reports and other artifacts of communication as it pertains to team productivity, issue status and resolution
  • Manage multiple short and long term initiatives
  • Ensure the team is delivering value and meeting SLAs

  • Manage a team of a dozen+ engineers onsite and offshore

  • Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching



Job Requirements


  • Proven ability to work with technical teams, manage developers and balance multiple priorities
  • Experience working in teams developing enterprise level software applications and service oriented architecture
  • 3-5 years managing teams
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar field



  • The ability to clearly communicate both in verbal and written format
  • Self-Motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team of people

  • Able to manage time and tasks effectively
  • Flexible and able to maintain composure under pressure

While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.  Will be required to bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and operate office machinery.  Must be able to lift up to thirty pounds.  Specific work assignments may change without notice.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.



The majority of work will be performed in a climate-controlled environment, but may be exposed to inclement weather and varying degrees of temperature on occasion.


Schedules will vary depending on business needs, and may entail working nights, weekends and holidays.  Must be flexible to work outside of departmental operating hours.
