POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

This position will be responsible for creating and maintaining financial reporting for various areas of the business to include Sales and Marketing. They will also assist with the creation and maintenance of budget information. The position will act as a liaison between Financial Services and Operations in the areas of reporting and budgeting. They will also aid with the implementation of new reporting platforms.

 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:  

  • Create and maintain databases used to calculate incentive payments across the company. Develops and maintains complex Excel calculations to determine compensation.
  • Create and maintaining moderate to extensive programs primarily using Visual Basic, SQL, and MS Access.
  • Administer the collaboration between the Financial Services team, the IT team, and other business units with respect to financial database and ERP functionality monitoring.
  • Creates financial tools to assist business leaders in making economic and business decisions to improve the operational and financial effectiveness of the company. Develop accurate reporting including but not limited to actuals vs. budget and period over period comparisons.
  • Assist in the development and improvement (including documentation) of internal controls and procedures related to financial reporting and new projects as needed.

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or related business area required. MBA or relevant graduate degree a plus.
  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience
  • Timeshare/Hospitality industry experience a plus
  • Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics, and Management Reporter a plus.
  • Moderate to extensive knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies to include but not limited to MS Excel workbooks, worksheets, SSRS, SQL, Crystal Reports, manipulating data, functions, charts, automation, report generation, formatting, and queries.
