This position will be responsible for assists with the data mining, report development, and financial analysis used to service the mortgage portfolio of Capital Management. Responsible for creating and maintaining reports to analyze the daily business operations and compliance reporting for the business. Works independently and must be extremely analytical and precise.  Should be able to identify problems and formulate alternative solutions to these problems.  Exercises independent judgment and discretion in carrying out assigned duties.  Performs financial analysis and interacts with operational personnel on financial.  Experience in database applications including mining, data import, table creation, query creation and macros. Should be able to learn quickly and perform at a fast pace.


  • Create reports based off of collection data and daily operational activities
  • Manage weekly and monthly analysis projects crucial to business operations
  • Develop analyses, trends, and forecasts
  • Administers and completes special projects as requested
  • Build and maintain databases to perform ad-hoc requests by management
  • Establish standard operating procedures to improve internal controls
  • Work closely with outside vendors
  • Provide advice and technical assistance with analysis on collection efforts and campaigns.
  • Seek new ways to improve efficiency and increase profits
  • Maintains compliance reporting for the mortgage portfolio

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business area required. 
  • Minimum of 1-2 years prior financial analyst experience.
  • PC knowledge; includes spreadsheet and database software.
