POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

This position will be responsible for assisting with the data mining, report development, and financial analysis used to service the mortgage and condo portfolio of Capital Management. Responsible for creating and maintaining reports to analyze the daily business operations. Works independently and must be extremely analytical and precise.  Exercises independent judgment and discretion in carrying out assigned duties. Performs financial analysis and interacts with operational personnel on financial and accounting matters.

 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:  

  • Create reports based off of collection data and daily operational activities; Manage weekly and monthly analysis projects crucial to business operations; Develop analyses, trends and forecasts.
  • Administers and completes special projects as requested; Build and maintain databases to perform ad-hoc requests by management; Establishes standard operating procedures to improve internal controls.
  • Work closely with outside vendors to provide advice and technical assistance with analysis on collection efforts and campaigns; Seeks new ways to improve efficiency and increase profits.

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business area required. 
  • Minimum two (2) years of financial analyst experience.
