POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This position will be responsible for the managing the day-to-day operations of the Escrow Team and accounts for Wilson Title Services (WTS), including but not limited to policies, assignments and all other areas in the escrow process, participating in the hiring process, training of new hires, conducting disciplinary actions when appropriate and conducting of annual reviews.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

1. Effectively manages the real estate closing transaction for insuring timeshare title insurances.  20%


2. Establishing new escrow accounts and process escrow remits in accordance with all applicable State laws and guidelines.  25%


3. Performs timeshare escrow responsibilities, understands curative action for escrow defects. Prepares related reports, audits and current procedures to monitor efficiency of operations.  20%


4. Delegates assignments and provides development opportunities. Manages workflow and resolves escalated issues.  35%

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervises Title Agent Assistants

Job Requirements



EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    • BA or BS degree preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • 5+ years escrow experience
    • Licensed Title Agent for the State of Florida required within 1 year of employment
    • Timeshare title experience preferred 


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Florida Title Agent License

  • Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, by providing and obtaining information, effectively, clearly, correctly, concisely, completely, logically, in a timely manner, and at an appropriate level and format, while maintaining confidentiality.

  • Maintain a strong and consistent work ethic.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work well under pressure.
  • Train employees as needed.
