POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Divisional Vice President will oversee the Sales operation of their designated region across multiple resorts. Execute against the company’s mission to provide superior quality, lasting value, and outstanding customer service through the day-to-day workflow processes that affect the organization. The Divisional Vice President of Sales will provide strategic direction, leadership, and talent based performance development for the sales and marketing team within the Region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Partners with Regional Vice President of Sales & Marketing to develop and execute a sales strategy to meet and/or exceed budgeted numbers at each site within the region. Establishes annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasts; and is accountable for achieving the net sales budgets for each site within the region. Coaches, manages and leads all Sales Directors within the region to meet and/or exceed stated budgeted numbers at each site. Analyzes the competition, customer and product to develop/implement and if required adjust strategies to maximize sales performance. Manages the compensation strategy to drive sales while maintaining budgetary goals.
  • Partners and works closely with the Regional Leadership Team; Training, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and Operations. Additionally, works with all corporate support functions, Human Resources, Legal, Finance & Accounting, Customer Service, Operations as well as the Corporate Sales & Marketing Team. Ensures conformance to all company and departmental standards, policies and procedures. Maintains seamless, effective communications between all departments in pursuit of exceeding all regional defined sales goals.
  • Partners/manages all designated on-site leadership with the administration of all sales activities as well as maintaining favorable customer/owner relations. Reviews with leadership teams at each site cancellation trends and resolves all customer service challenges quickly with a proactive approach and resolution. Will share responsibility for overall appearance of sales center and sales presentation material.
  • Oversees and is responsible for the delivery and daily execution of our prescribed training curriculum and sales processes. Will complete and submit site evaluations to the Regional Vice President of Sales & Marketing after each visit.
  • Responsible for succession planning and development in preparation for acquisitions and new site openings. Will also participate in panel interviews for all manager positions and above.
  • Performs all other responsibilities deemed necessary by the Regional Vice President of Sales & Marketing that are deemed instrumental to a successful sales operation. Participates/assists on special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of industry experience, including two (2) within Sales & Marketing operation
  • Ability to travel up to 75%, which will be dictated by business demands and site results
