POSITION:

Divisional Sales Training Manager ensures the appropriate training curriculum is implemented to support the consistent day-to-day execution of the Sales processes and to maximize efficiencies and increase employee retention at Holiday Inn Club Vacations. Assist the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing Training with selecting and leading a team of Sales Training Managers and ensure they deliver training to all new hires, existing Team Members and Managers.

OVERVIEW:

  • Ensures consistency of the execution of all training programs across the region. Inspect to make sure the training curriculum is consistently executed by observing and evaluating trainer’s classroom presentations, evaluations and reports.
  • Ensures sales rides are appropriately scheduled and performed at all sites within the region. Assists with identifying opportunity areas from owner and guest survey trends, secret shopper reports and site evaluations. Ensures conformity of all departmental and company standards, policies and procedures.
  • Ensures necessary approvals are provided to guarantee consistency of all sales materials and collateral. Assists in the implementation and operation of sales motivation contests and special events/meeting assignments. Performs new hire training when business dictates. Facilitates departmental team meetings.
  • Assists with the facilitation of training curriculums for the continuous improvement of members of the various sales teams.
  • Delivers continues training for Sales Training Managers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Assists with recruiting, selecting and onboarding/training new Sales Training Managers.
  • Provides leadership and positive influence on the daily operations of all sales training programs within the region.
  • Provides development, mentoring, support and clear expectations to Sales Team Members in each job related function.
  • Achieves personal and departmental written objectives as provided or determined throughout the fiscal year.

Job Requirements



QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have five years of industry sales experience including a proven track record of success in sales leadership, closing sales and training.
  • Minimum of five years of industry experience, including a proven track record of success in sales and/or marketing training.
  • Superb presentation skills with experience conveying information in a clear, focused and concise manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities to select and develop sales or marketing consultants and trainers.
  • Interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization requiring excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Persuasive interpersonal skills to gain acceptance of an idea, plan, activity, service or product from guests, co-workers and subordinates.
  • Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
