The Company operates a Sales and Marketing organization for the purpose of procuring sales of its timeshare unit weeks. This position provides support to the site Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Corporate Leadership to maximize profitability and growth of relevant sites.  The Director of Sales and Marketing Business Operations is responsible for the production of sales and marketing reports, budgets, forecasts, projections and analysis and provides analytical support through reporting developed from various sources and using various tools including, but not limited to TimeshareWare, Schedule Source, Oracle, Crystal Report, SQL Analyzer, Salesforce and Daybreak.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS  

  • Perform ad hoc analysis for Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
  • Develop sales and marketing staffing plans based upon expected activity. Develop monthly sales bonus matrix for each sales team. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual calculations of Recognition and Awards winners. Recommend modifications to compensation plans to motivate and incentivize performance that exceeds financial minimums. Modify MOAR and associated standards on periodic, as needed, basis.
  • Direct and manage data accuracy for daily tours and contracts for relevant sites. Approve financial expenditures and verify that amounts are within budget. Research discrepancies between actual expenses and expectations. Prepare weekly analysis of In-House opportunities and conversion. Prepare daily GAAP projections.
  • Perform budget to actual financial analysis on monthly and quarterly basis and well as develop annual financial budget. Recommend process changes or business changes to reduce cost structure and increase profitability. Prepare periodic long-term forecasts of locally generated tour activity. Communicate significant variances to plan immediately to Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Corporate Leadership.       
  • Ensure Team Members recognize, support and implement policies and procedures established by Holiday Inn Club Vacations.
  • Manage and direct Team Members with continuous coaching and development; conduct appraisals, annual employee engagement survey, and succession planning. Support and uphold the mission, vision and philosophies of Holiday Inn Club Vacations.
  • Participate or assist on special projects as assigned.
  • Perform all other responsibilities deemed necessary by the Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing that are deemed instrumental to a successful sales & marketing operation.

Job Requirements



EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • B.S. in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or other related field
  • M.B.A. preferred
  • Minimum two years’ experience developing and modifying reports from various management information systems
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office required
  • Timeshare experience preferred

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of five plus years of financial and business analysis experience
  • Must be process oriented with attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to manage and motivate team members while working effectively with Executive Management
  • Self-directed and independent but works as a team player
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic, high energy level and positive attitude
  • Strong administrative, organization and planning skills

 WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS

 Schedule is a typical work week Monday through Friday however; work week will fluctuate based upon deadlines.  Incumbent must be flexible as needed for business operations.
