This position will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing the company’s content strategy in support of growth goals. S/he will oversee Account, Social Media and PR teams focused on leading the creation of multi-channel content designed to engage with key audiences through digital platforms, web, PR/publishers, blog, print, email and social media (at-home and on-property). This leader will collaborate with internal and external creative agencies, social influencers and digital publishers to tell the Holiday Inn Club Vacations story through compelling content. Will oversee the processes involved with content creation from strategy to implementation. S/he will be a true self-starter who can help build the future of the Holiday Inn Club Vacations brand.


  • Translate business needs into content strategies designed to engage with current and new audiences.
  • Brief internal and external agencies and manage content through implementation. Ensure executions will drive effectiveness based on consumer behavior and best practices within the channel.
  • Engage with Marketing + Sales, Resort Operations and HR/Recruiting partners to fully understand business needs and frame-up clear content strategies to support them.
  • Formalize an internal content creation process, implementing new ways to more efficiently and effectively produce content in support of a growing number of needs.
  • Focus on content performance and optimization and incorporate learnings into planning and activation.
  • Lead and manage PR efforts for the company, building key relationships with key news outlets and digital publishers.
  • Develop the company’s influencer strategy and determine how to leverage these advocates to extend our message to new audiences.
  • Develop the strategy, framework and activation plan for a new consumer-facing blog. Create a network of contributors and oversee editorial strategy.
  • Oversee social media strategy and community management.
  • Serve as a digital/social media content “subject matter expert”, offering solutions to solve key business challenges/opportunities and arranging opportunities to educate the company.

  • Assess performance of team members on a regular basis and provides feedback for continual improvement, personally oversees career growth of team members.

Job Requirements

  • Relevant 4-year degree from an accredited College or University.
  • Experience leading teams of 10+.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Social Media, Communications, Account Management, Marketing Strategy or directly related field.



  • Demonstrated ability to create a vision and lead/develop a team to deliver on this vision.
  • Proven ability to lead a diverse team, aligning around a clear and achievable vision while anticipating quickly shifting business needs.
  • Demonstrated passion for developing team members.
  • Proven knowledge and experience working in the digital/social media space.
  • Plugged into pop culture trends and advancements in the digital/social media space.
  • Experience identifying, negotiating and creating content with social influencers.
  • Analytical experience and knowledge of digital/social data and metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence partners and senior leaders by building strong relationships, establishing trust and continually following through on commitments.
  • Ability to create compelling, story-driven presentations and deliver with passion and confidence.
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and drive large quantities of work.
  • Demonstrated budget generation and management skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
