POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position will be responsible for completing the daily preparation of all bulk food products according to company specifications; preparing buffet items and a al carte food.  


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Prepare and cook food according to instructions and recipes, working on several different orders simultaneously.
  • Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
  • Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas; clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
  • Read food order slips and prepare food according to instructions.

 

Job Requirements

  • One year of cooking experience a plus
  • Culinary Education and training preferred
  • ServeSafe certification a plus

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Operate large volume cooking equipment to include grills, deep-fat fryers, and griddles
  • Work in a self-directed environment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
