POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position will be responsible for completing the daily preparation of food products and cook items to-order as per company specifications.  This individual ensures consistently great food is prepared correctly, presented appropriately and served quickly in order to enhance the vacation experience of our owners and guests.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Clean food preparations areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
  • Measure ingredients, wash cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles
  • Clean, stock, and restock workstations

 

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience
  • One year of relevant experience preferred

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ability to follow prescribed procedures and guidelines in accomplishing tasks as described above
  • Ability to be self-directed
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong problem solving, prioritizing, and memory skills
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Will be required to bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and operate hand tools (may include operating industrial machinery)
  • Must be able to lift between 30 to 50 pounds
