POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Assistant Manager of Security will be responsible for assisting in the management of the day-to-day operations of the security department and ensuring all security, safety and risk management policies and procedures are being followed. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Conduct physical inspections of all posts and patrols to evaluate subordinates for compliance with job requirements, to disseminate daily officer’s orders, and to assure that the resort entrances and restricted areas are properly protected. Supervise the direct response of security Officers to perform Code One emergency procedures. Assist the Security Manager in the emergency management process.
  • Ensure all new employees are property on-boarded and adopt the HICV culture of excellence. Oversee all technical training of employees and on-going development of all team members. Provide OJT and other needed training to less skilled Security Officers.
  • Interact with all customers to provide highest level of customer service.  Partner with other resort departments to assist owners and guests.
  • Conduct preliminary investigations under the guidance of the Security Manager; prepare review written reports involving reportable incidents that occur at the Resort. Conduct safety evaluations, and assist with special projects as needed.
  • Act as a first responder to all guest and employee accidents and injuries on property. Administer First-Aid, contact emergency services if required. Secure first report of injury in the case of employee injuries; assist with the drug and alcohol testing of employees when appropriate.

 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of Three to Five years of leadership experience.
  • Five years’ experience in the Security field in a high guest contact or resort environment.
  • CPR/First Aid/AED/Infant
  • Current valid State driver’s license
  • TAM Card 
  • Sherriff’s Card
