Position Overview

This position will be responsible for the successful execution of activities and events by consistently monitoring resort activity programs and entertainment. 


Essential Duties and Tasks

  • Develops and demonstrates equipment usage either verbally or with hands-on demonstrations.
  • Assists the Fitness and Activities Manager in developing a sustainable, exciting, and thriving recreational facility with exceptional and varied recreational activities.
  • Maintains a safe and clean fitness center environment by keeping area clean at all times.
  • Assists with special events and programs; such as recreational events, children’s camps, and outdoor tours.
  • Actively communicates activities and events to all members, owners and guests. Also ensures excellent customer service as it relates to our activities property wide.
  • Acts as a leader for various crafts, guided nature walks, and guided snowshoe tours.
  • Monitors all activities to ensure the safety and security of all owners and guests.
  • Provides tours of facility to guests, owners, and prospective members.
  • Sells memberships, packages, and day passes.


Job Requirements

  • Experience in basic computer programs and social media (ie. Facebook)
  • Town or College community relations experience ideal
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with children and families
  • CPR/ First Aid/AED preferred but not required. Employee will be trained upon hire.
  • Knowledge of proper exercise form and spotting techniques for weight lifting preferred. (will be taught regardless)

Essential Functions

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent typing, spelling and grammar skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent knowledge of surrounding area and off-property amenities
  • Excellent marketing skills
  • Comfort in guiding indoor and outdoor activities
