This position will be a temporary assignment of approximately 6 to 9 months  and will be responsible for closing cost liability reconciliations including identifying issues and bringing them to the attention of management. This position will also be responsible for Sales Chargebacks and will be the backup for Marketing Chargebacks. Work is somewhat routine with some difficult situations requiring investigation and more in depth analysis. This position will also assist with other areas in Sales accounting that may be applicable at certain times.


1. Create and record journal entries with an understanding of the financial statement impact and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. 30%

2. Reconcile, research and resolve complex general ledger accounts to minimize risk and protect company assets 30%

3. Perform comprehensive research and analysis; ability to present and explain results. 25%

4. Assists in the development, implementation and ensures compliance with policies and procedures. Establishes “Best Practices” and formulates solutions as it relates to creating efficiencies. 5%

5. Special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required. 10%

Job Requirements


• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant accounting experience.
• Timeshare / Hospitality industry experience a plus

• Proficient in Excel at an intermediate or higher level.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, detail-orientated and the ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
• Must be able to communicate effectively (written and oral).
• Ability to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Must be able to establish productive relationships with internal and external partners.
• Be a team player with a positive attitude.
