POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position will be responsible for assisting the Housekeeping Manager in auditing the accommodation units to ensure all units are ready for occupancy. The Supervisor II will audit the work and activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure clean, orderly, well-maintained and attractive rooms; audit contracted housekeeping work, investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Inspections of units/unit buildings and report engineering issues, inventory placement, linen placement, pest control issues, and any unit deficiencies.
  • Mentoring and training of team members to achieve and exceed quality/quantity standards.
  • Attend weekly meetings with housekeeping team members and shift managers.
  • Assist with the resort operational programs such as Clean the World.
  • Assist the department with special projects as needed and provide regular updates to Housekeeping Management.

 

Job Requirements

  • Ability to follow prescribed procedures and guidelines in accomplishing tasks
  • Ability to be self-directed
  • Skill in attention to detail
  • 2 years of Housekeeping and Housekeeping experience is preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license, and minimum of 4 years of driving experience.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ability to follow written instruction
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift minimum of 30lbs
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Must be able to react and adapt to changes and priorities.
