POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This position will be responsible for managing all marketing efforts for the Rental Operations Department.  The Marketing Manager will develop an annual marketing plan to generate the maximum amount of marketing activity and production from the marketing budget.  The Marketing manager will also be responsible for monitoring campaign effectiveness, making recommendations on adjustments and creating innovative marketing opportunities to increase company profitability. Ideal candidate will have a proven track record with strategic marketing implementations and have a strong background in analytics-driven decision making.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

1.      Development and management of the Rental Operations Marketing Plan.  Includes establishing an annual plan based on advertising budget, reviewing and adjusting plan based on resort, seasonal and business needs/opportunities & establishing and monitoring key metrics of the marketing plan. 

 

2.      Work with digital marketing to plan and implement digital marketing initiatives for Rental Operations. Includes establishing budgets, key metrics and monitory results. Utilize tools such as Google Analytics to perform in-depth SEO & paid media analysis and report on performance on a weekly basis v Keyword Analysis, Research & Copywriting.

3.      Works with IHG Marketing to develop complimentary marketing plans to ensure maximum and efficient branded marketing efforts for Rental Operations.

4.      Manage development, production, and distribution of promotional and collateral materials by working with internal brand services and external production vendors.

5.      Provide guidance, leadership and staff development for Rental Marketing Team.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing the Rental Marketing team, including recruiting, conducting interviews, developing & motivating employees, driving employee engagement and evaluating performance and providing regular feedback through meetings and reviews.  



 

 

Job Requirements



EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors' degree in Marketing or a related field
  • 3-5 years of digital marketing experience
  • Required Experience in The Hospitality Industry
  • Understanding of multi-channel approach including SEO, SEM, paid social, display, mobile and video 
  • Digital advertising experience

  • Digital Media and Marketing Certification

  • Knowledge of travel industry, current market trends and economic factors
  • Creates effective Marketing Programs that will increase awareness and positive perception of the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Resorts.
  • Excellent communication skills including written communications, speaking and presentation development and delivery.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and understand principles of budgeting
  • Must be able to collaborate and develop strong relationships effectively with clients and team members.
  • Attention to detail in order to catch quality assurance issues before project deployment
  • Ability to multi-task and work under multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work as a team and be part of a dynamic team environment

WORKING CONDITIONS

The majority of work will be performed in a climate-controlled environment, but may be exposed to inclement weather and varying degrees of temperature on occasion.

 



WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS

Schedules will vary depending on business needs, and may entail working nights, weekends and holidays.  Must be flexible to work outside of departmental operating hours including traveling for up to a week at a time
