POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

The Regional Human Resources Director is responsible for designing and managing the delivery of a business-aligned people agenda. This position is also responsible for leading a team of Human Resources staff, based in different locations within the assigned geographic region, to provide distinctive service to their internal clients, employees, and partners within the region. Key areas of focus are to address human development needs within the various sites and ensure that appropriate training is delivered to meet these needs.

The successful candidate will develop the team responsible for "high touch" people experiences, such as onboarding, integrated performance management, retention practices, employee issues, and general Human Resources programs for the region.

 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:  

  • Become an expert in the strategy of the Company, regional practices, and the business priorities of the region; proactively interact with regional leaders and line partners/managers to strategically identify Company-wide Human Resources goals and objectives to ensure they are consistent with the business goals of Orange Lake Resorts.
  • Support the execution of the Company’s strategy by co-designing and implementinga business-aligned people agenda that delivers measurable value to the businessand an exemplary experience to the employees.
  • Co- develop and implement national Human resources policies, procedures, andpractices and ensure they are implemented successfully at all levels; oversee theregional execution of all general Human Resources programs including the following; site recruitment, performance management, training, employment law compliance,compensation and benefits administration, employee relations,and retention.
  • Coordinate and partner with other Human Resources national groups such as Recruitment, HRIS, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, andCompensation & Benefits.
  • Manage, mentor, and coach the region’s Human Resources staff.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field required.
  • MBA strongly preferred.
  • SHRM or PHR certification strongly preferred.
  • Seven to ten years of increasingly responsible Human Resources leadership positions with demonstrated ability o thrive in a culture that is collaborative, service-oriented, and consultative, preferably in a timeshare environment.
  • Five years of management experience in Human Resources, preferably timeshare.
  • Extensive experience managing, mentoring and developing a team of HR practitioners across disparate geographies.
  • Reputation for discretion, integrity, judgment, responsiveness, strong attention to detail and commonsense.
  • Past experience functioning as a regional or local HR Leader within an HR Business Partner model.
