POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

 

This position will be responsible for assisting in the screening of candidates for high volume hourly positions for various departments, and with the communication (inbound and outbound) with the applicants.  The role assists with career events, gathering documentation, sourcing candidates through various mediums including web/social media, etc.. Additionally, this role will assist with Vendor and Contract management.  Must be familiar with EEO and AA programs, policies and procedures.


 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:  

  • Build partnerships with local recruiting sources, assist with job postings, advertisements, utilize social media and web resources to source qualified candidates, assist in planning and coordinating of hiring events.
  • Manage open requisitions and applications; review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge. Conduct pre-screening phone interviews to assess candidates. Coordinate interview schedules with candidates and hiring manager 
  • Perform Reference and background checks, arrange for pre-employment screening, complete onboarding paperwork, and follow-up with new hires on a regular basis to ensure retention.
  • Ensure timely communications with all candidates and hiring managers and communicate hiring status to hiring managers and trainers.
  • Assist with talent acquisition for RISE (HCV intern program).
  • Assist with Vendor and Contract management which includes vendor maintenance, auditing, reporting, compliance as well as regularly liaising with various client groups to ensure efficacy of vendors.
  • Works on specific projects as requested.

 

Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent required.  Bachelor's degree (B.A.) a plus
  • 0 to 2 years of hands-on recruiting experience
  • Timeshare experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of recruiting techniques.
