Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Outbound Day Drive Agent is a destination expert responsible for scheduling vacation tours with existing IHG Rewards Members through outbound phone calls. This position accomplishes success by providing strategic thinking, relationship building, influence, and superior sales strategies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Make outbound phone calls to active IHG Rewards Members to conduct a survey and solicit a preview tour at one of our approved marketing resorts
  • Meet or exceed production standards set forth by the department.
  • Overcome objections in order to secure date and time of presentation
  • Adhere to approved scripts
  • Demonstrate an ability to manage time efficiently as to effectively penetrate your weekly lead base. Handle situations with dis-satisfied guests

 

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two years of sales experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Contact Center sales in the Timeshare/Hospitality industry a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain an upbeat, positive, and motivated demeanor
  • Able to read/write/speak the English language, Spanish a plus
  • Able to maintain required sales percentage per week
  • Able to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on Contact Center needs
