POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

Responsible for managing corporate HR initiatives, vendor accounts, compliance with government laws and regulations and project management.   Develop and facilitate compliance training, liaise with multiple internal business units.  Respond to general inquiries regarding policies, unemployment claims administration, records management, and hiring standards.  Acts as a champion of the company’s mission and values, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and business goals and objectives.  Has a strong focus on corporate HR initiatives, project management, analyzing data, and communication.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS: 

HR & Legal Compliance 40%

Project management, internal audits and reports, developing internal resources & guides.  HR Standards administration & reports, general policy guidance, employee Handbook and associated policy updates.  Assist with Employee Relations/Labor Relations investigations, special projects.     

Diversity & Inclusion Program 30%  

Administer and promote diversity and inclusion in the work culture. Assist with the development of Company Affinity Groups, mission statements budget proposals, planning and organizing events.  Engage in inter-department, and company-wide collaboration.  Develop corporate and regional relationships with diverse organizations and community business partnerships. 

Vendor and Process Administration 30%

Administer internal processes, vendor services and fulfillment, assist with requests for new vendor proposals.  Monitor compliance standards and assist with development, delivery and tracking of training.  Provide guidance to HR and Talent Acquisition teams with pre-screening and Adverse Action processes.  Assist with escalations and user access administration.

 

Job Requirements

EDUCATION:

  • BS or BA in relevant field required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • CDP and SHRM certifications preferred

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years of experience in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition, preferably in timeshare.
  • 3 years of experience in Employee Relations and conducting documented investigations
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR policies, procedures, as well as Federal & State regulations
  • 3 years of experience in Organizational Development and Training preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Must possess excellent verbal, written and verbal communications skills.
  • Well-developed presentation skills
