Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Financial Analyst II (“Analyst”) is responsible for assisting in data mining, report development and analysis of standard and unique reports to support the daily operations for the Marketing Call Center. Analyst is responsible for providing support to the Regional Vice President and Sales and Marketing Business Director. Analyst performs analysis/forecasting, reporting and interacts with operational personnel on Marketing Call Center metrics. Analyst exercises independent judgment in carrying out duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Achieve personal and departmental written objectives as established. Research discrepancies between actual and forecasted Sales, Call Center Metrics, and lead assignments. Prepare weekly tracking and forecast reporting. Prepare and verify weekly lead upload for Salesforce users. Ensure that any staffing changes subsequent to the weekly upload are properly taken into account for lead assignment. Collaborate with Corporate Marketing to constantly improve Sales and customer engagement tracking process. Perform ad hoc analysis for the Vice President/ Director(s) of Sales and Marketing. Recommend process changes or business changes to reduce cost structure and increase profitability. Communicate significant variances to plan immediately to the Business Manager and Vice President/Project Director of Sales and Marketing. Prepare periodic long-term forecasts of locally generated tour activity.
  • Utilize his/her experience in database applications including mining, data import, table creation, query creation and macros to create financial analysis and statistical reports to support the business.
  • Recognize, support and implement policies and procedures established by Orange Lake Resorts while upholding the mission, vision and philosophies of Holiday Inn Club Vacations.
  • Participate or assist on special projects as assigned. Perform all other responsibilities deemed necessary by the Business Manager or Vice President/Director of Sales and Marketing that are deemed instrumental to a successful sales & marketing operation.

 

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in timeshare sales or marketing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Microsoft Excel/Access, Salesforce, some SQL analysis, and Business Objects.
  • PC knowledge; includes spreadsheet and database software
