The Director of Telesales will oversee a phone-based sales team dedicated to conducting outbound calling campaigns to new and existing Holiday Inn Club owners and guests, with the intent to sell timeshare. The Director of Telesales is responsible for creating and executing the overall sales strategy, communicating the strategy to the sales team and business units, and coordinating with marketing management to ensure alignment of marketing and sales strategies.  This role responds to the needs of the telesales force by providing necessary resources, offering incentives and resolving conflicts. This role is responsible for implementing and reviewing policies and the operating structure of the Telesales team; assist in setting standards and guidelines for interaction with customers and monitor sales calls to ensure that the expectations of the customers and business are met.

1.     Develop, execute and monitor the outbound telesales strategy to maximize contacts and drive sales for HCV.


2.     Responsible for the selection, development and performance of Sales Consultants and the sales management team. 


3.     Ensures monthly performance expectations are met and/or exceeded on time and under budget.  Strategizes with peers and business stakeholders to ensure performance objectives are accomplished while adhering to all HCV policies and procedures.


4.     Actively conduct call monitoring to determine performance gaps and provide feedback to individual Team Managers and Telesales Agents to partner with the training team to develop and deliver ongoing training for telesales teams which result in strong and effective sales results. Develop and implement tracking of assigned teams’ performance and key metrics to ensure proper management of the corrective action and SOP processes (including attendance, policy, escalation and performance)


5.     Monitor the availability of product inventory and make sure Sales Managers have an accurate understanding of what can be sold from the portfolio as well as how it should be sold (e.g., to include financing).


Job Requirements


  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of five years of timeshare sales experience, including two within timeshare sales management role, preferred
  • Is required to maintain an active and in-good standing professional Real Estate License/Timeshare license where mandated by law
  • Verifiable timeshare sales statistics preferred
  • Bilingual preferred but not required
